WAVELENGTH LEARNING JOURNEYS

"Wavelength are great to work with. They delivered a highly engaging and cleverly constructed event which met all my requirements. The group were highly involved and inspired and the social enterprise immersion was one of the most popular momentum experiences we have offered. We'll definitely be working with these guys again!"
- Julius James, Executive Director UBS Ascent Program EMEA

  • Take leaders out of their environment and comfort zones.
  • Provide an understanding of new business models and cultures.
  • Provide lessons in innovation, service excellence, leadership.
  • Enable leaders to apply their knowledge and experience to different businesses and increase their mental agility.

How are they structured?

Each visit or series is bespoke in nature and can last from half a day to a week.

What are the themes?

Visits are themed to meet clients’ needs but tend to focus on core areas:

  • Leadership in complexity/tough markets
  • Service excellence
  • Creating great cultures/places to work
  • Innovation

Sample visit: Leadership in Tough Markets, An Immersion into Social Enterprise

There exists a rapidly growing new sector that unlike traditional charities is not reliant upon grants to achieve their social goals. This is the Social Enterprise sector.

Social enterprises operate in competitive markets, trade goods and services, and generate sufficient income to be self-sustaining and scale. Moreover, they seek not only to meet one, but a triple bottom line: financial, social and often environmental.

They typically employ disenfranchised people and serve excluded, tough markets.

These social enterprises have much in common with the private sector and offer many lessons in how to lead in the some of the toughest markets and places.
